It’s been a while since I got the repair work done on three of my instruments. I have an acoustic that was an absolute basket case before I took it to have Chase do the repairs. At the same time I brought him a bowl back Italian mandolin that was made in the 1940s that had the top split and there were separations around the top and I brought my favorite acoustic that I had issues with the action and the intonation. As for the mandolin, I had tried for three years to find someone who would repair it. I even tried to send it to an expert in blowback mandolins in Canada. Chase was the first person in all that time they told me he knew how to repair it. Chase is a miracle worker at repairing acoustic instruments. Chase repaired that mandolin and it plays beautifully. Now the eldest of my acoustic guitars was ruined when it was shipped to me in the middle of summer. Thanks too the UPS who took forever. By the way they allowed the top to get warped by the heat and humidity during the time they had it. The music store that had shipped it to me would not take it back. I was stuck with an unplayable guitar. I thought no way would anyone be able to repair this guitar and make it playable. Incredibly Chase repaired that guitar. The action and the intonation on the guitar is perfect now and it has a beautiful voice. My other acoustic guitar had terrible action height, and bad intonation. It is hard to get perfect intonation on a acoustic guitar. Chase was able to get the action height and intonation on my guitar perfect. I played this guitar every day and it never goes out of tune. Every note all the way up the neck is right on the money. I don’t know how he does it, but Chase is the best and if you need to have your acoustic guitar repaired, Chase is the man to repair it.

Just got another custom bass drum head from Chase and once again it’s a “home run”. He’s done a few for me over the years and they’re always amazing !!!

I’d been passing by that place for years and always thought it would be nice to visit, but didn’t have a specific need until today. Glad I stopped by, what a fascinating establishment, wish I had more time to gaze. Friendly people had me in and out with what I came for within minutes.

Always helpful every time I come in! Left a guitar to be set up and it was ready by the end of the day. Great work and customer service!

Always have and always will love this beautiful place. It’s really a sanctuary away from the chaos of the world for me. I don’t get to make it in much, but when I do Chase and Mike are alway so helpful and a joy to talk to.
